It's cheap, it's easy, it's absolutely always delicious. Why wouldn't you have this dish in your back arsenal?
Anyone who has been around me the last few years, has most definitely tried my chicken thigh recipe. This has been my favorite, stress-free recipe that I can cook for the two of us at home, or easily for a house full of friends. The trick is splitting cooking time between the oven top and oven, as well as seasoning with a good garlic salt. I highly recommend Lawry's Garlic Salt. It's $2.99 at Target & probably every other store, and makes absolutely everything taste better. Trust. Throw that on some avocado/olive oil toast & thank me later.
All you'll need is an oven safe pan and you're ready to go!
Ingredients:
Chicken thighs
Olive oil (I always prefer Palestinian due to it's flavor & richness, but grape seed oil is an easy alternative to find that is healthy as well)
Garlic salt
Ground pepper
Instructions:
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F
Rinse chicken thoroughly & pat dry with a paper towel
Season both sides of chicken thighs with garlic salt and ground pepper
Sear for 3 minutes on each side in oven safe pan
Bake for 6-8 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F
