In case you didn't know, "Bachan" means Grandma in Japanese. The sauces are meant to taste like Grandma's homemade teriyaki sauce. We left the chicken in the sous vide for a few hours, as it's not particular about time. The rice took 55 minutes + after the chicken was done cooking, dinner was served in just 10 minutes! This is a great dish to throw into your weekly rotation. Change it up with various sauces or top it with new flavors--the options are endless!

Season chicken breast (we used KC Butt Spice from BBQ Spot)
Sous Vide chicken around 140-150 degrees for several hours
Get a quick sear & toss sliced chicken in Bachan's Original Sauce
Serve over rice (with green onions if you have it!)
Rice cooker recommendation: Can't go wrong with Zojirushi. For the two of us, we use the smaller size which fits about 5-6 cups of rice. (Runs for about $199)
Just please do not forget to wash your rice! Read why HERE.
Shop Bachans Sauce online, or it's sold at most Costco's too!
