I recently started watching Nadiya's new Netflix TV show, "Time To Eat", and really connected with her cooking style and time-saving tricks.
Have a recipe that calls for garlic cloves?
"Rather than spending loads of time peeling garlic cloves individually, stick them in a bowl with some boiling water for 1 minute and they should come off really easily", says Nadiya. And don't bother chopping the garlic and onions, "whack everything in a food processor, easy peasy", she says.
Simply place garlic cloves into a heat-safe bowl or pot, pour boiling water over and let sit until cool. Remove garlic cloves and easily peel away!
